Bushnell Falcon 10x50 Wide Angle Binoculars Review
First, let's take a quick look at the specs of these amazing binoculars.
Glass/Lens
The lens in these Bushnell Falcon binoculars are what you'd expect from the name Bushnell. That is - high quality and clear.
These are porro prism binoculars, so the cost is a lot lower than their roof prism counterparts, but the quality is often higher.
The focus knob is easy to use and you can move from distance to close with a smooth easy movement.
Magnification
With these Falcon binoculars you get a 10x magnification with a 50mm objective lens.
Along with the porro prism inside this, you get a clear and large image that is 10x larger than normal.
The larger objective lens gives you an absolutely huge field of view, brighter image, and better experience.

Image Quality
The quality of the image is far better than you'd expect in a pair of binoculars in this price range.
A lot of that is due to the fact that these are porro prisms rather than roof prisms.
Most modern binoculars use a roof prism system which is more compact but far more expensive to design and build.
Additionally porro prisms have a better image and are also cheaper. The only draw back is their large size.

Field of View
These Bushnell Falcon binoculars support an absolutely massive 300 ft field of view at 1000 yds.
So, you can effortlessly see the entire horizon while scanning for game.
Or, you can see the bird in great clarity and follow it as it jumps and moves from branch to branch.
Eye Relief
The Falcon 10x50 binoculars have a 9mm eye relief. While this isn't a huge eye relief, it is acceptable and can accommodate most prescription eye wear.
Primary Uses of the Bushnell Falcon 10x50 Wide Angle Binoculars
When you're deciding what kind of binoculars to buy, you really need to think about what their use will be. That's because different binoculars can each be great quality, but not do what you need them to do.
These are 10x50 binoculars. So, they have a decent magnification of 10x which is great for hunting, birding, or wildlife observation.
Their objective lens of 50mm gives them a very wide field of view, large, and bright image.
Binoculars like this are perfect for hunting or birding as you can get the field of view and the magnification.
The drawback is their bulk. They weight 27 ounces, which is a bit on the heavier side. They're also very large due to the porro prism.
So, they may not be perfect for long treks in the woods, but they are good for short distances.
Pros of the Bushnell Falcon 10x50 Wide Angle Binoculars
The best part of these binoculars are the great image, large magnification, and huge field of view.
They are also at a great price point for all of that.
Great quality for the price = good value.
Cons of the Falcon 10x50's
The large size and weight are their biggest drawback.
Some pairs can have a loose eye piece or improperly installed barrel. It seems to cut costs some of the manufacturing quality was reduced.
What Others Are Saying About These Bushnell's

By Cliff Haugue
This is definitely and without any doubt the best pair of binoculars I have owned. i'm 62 years old and have been hunting and fishing my entire life. I have bought at least 26 pairs of binoculars in my life and none come close to this one. It focuses immediately so I'm very pleased. Thank you Bushnell for an amazing product.

Overall, I do recommend these Bushnell Falcon 10x50 binoculars to my students and believe they are a good overall value for the money you have to spend. I run a lab that requires binoculars.
They get the job done and don't require a significant amount of money. They are actually well-built believe it or not and pretty good image.
An experienced outdoorsman can tell where they cut costs to sell a 10x50 for less than $40 though.
High-end products do produce a sharper image and the infinity focus is a little iffy. The image doesn't "snap" out or into focus like you'd expect.
I had no illusions about what I would be getting for this price so, yes, I would buy them again.
